Dr. Belén del Pino Arcos is a psychiatrist trained in Spain, where she completed her medical degree at the University of Valladolid and her residency in Psychiatry in University Clinical Hospital in Zaragoza. With seven years of clinical experience in Spain, she holds a Master’s degree and advanced training in Perinatal Psychiatry as well as in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Belén del Pino Arcos has worked extensively with children and adolescents across developmental stages, providing comprehensive assessments and treatment within specialized mental health services. Her clinical work also includes significant experience in perinatal psychiatry, supporting women in their motherhood journeys- from fertility challenges and pregnancy to the postpartum period and early parenting. She has advanced, consultant-level expertise in psychopharmacology for adults, children and adolescents, including its safe and effective use during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
She has served in leadership positions, including Head of Psychiatry at ITA, a youth mental-health clinic, and Medical Director of Psychiatry at Sanatorio Esquerdo, a center focused on addiction treatment. Alongside these roles, she has cultivated an integrative psychotherapeutic approach, completing multiple master’s programs, clinical rotations, and trainings in diverse therapeutic modalities.
