Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Flourishing Minds Clinic’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to provide support, connection, education and healing for adolescents experiencing a mental health or behavioural health conditions which require more support than conventional outpatient therapy can provide. The program functions as an alternative to inpatient care or as transitional care following an inpatient stay. This program is appropriate for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, mood swings, personality disorders and interpersonal and vocational difficulties. The program utilises principles, concepts, and skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other evidence-based modalities. Through connection with peers, group discussion, education, experiential activities and a goal-directed treatment plan, we empower adolescents and adults to improve their mental health and well-being so they can more fully engage and flourish in their lives. The IOP for adolescents is a 6 hours/week – 8 week program.
