Swati Kakra, completed her Master’s in psychology from India along with certifications in various therapeutic approaches. She views the field of psychology as her lifelong calling and has worked for 11 years across various clinical settings including a rehabilitation center and center for special needs.
As a licensed psychological counsellor, her expertise is across early intervention for children, stress and anxiety management, child counseling, relationship counseling, and family counseling. She is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults and tailors her therapeutic approach using evidence based practices of cognitive behavior therapy, rational emotive behaviour therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, interpersonal therapy, along with mindfulness based approaches to facilitate the learning of effective coping techniques, support behavioral change, and improve functioning.
