Sajeda began practicing psychotherapy four years ago, after being awarded her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with First Class Honors and her Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology with Distinction. During this period, she has worked with diverse age groups in both Jordan and the State of Qatar, including adolescents, adults, and special populations such as women and pregnant women. She is also experienced in delivering therapy in both Arabic and English and in culturally sensitive environments.
Sajeda is driven by the belief that everyone deserves a chance to lead a peaceful and happy life and face life’s challenges with maximum emotional stability. Therefore, she aims to provide individuals with the necessary support, empowerment, compassion, and skills to cope effectively with their thoughts and emotions during daily life challenges and difficult times. To achieve this, she employs an integrative therapy approach in psychotherapy, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to tailor interventions to each individual’s needs. Sajeda specializes in a wide range of mental disorders, with a particular focus on mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders.
Apart from her dedication to helping people achieve their best lives through therapy, Sajeda is also deeply committed to raising awareness about mental health within the community. She has made significant contributions in this area by organizing public events, conducting courses, workshops, and delivering lectures in the field of psychology and mental health. Furthermore, she is enthusiastic about creating written Arabic content on mental health. Therefore, she has supervised a group of scholars in producing scientific psychological content in Arabic.
